What is being released with this update?
We are releasing our limit orders functionality that has been audited by our friends at Hacken, along with our staking portal.
Unilayer Limit Orders & Staking Platform
As many of you know anybody can use the limit orders in the Unilayer platform at any given time. The Unilayer platform takes a 0.2% fee in ETH for each limit order, the smart contract sends 92% of that fee to the staking pool, that ETH gets proportionally distributed depending on how much LAYER you hold in the pool.
The calculation is based at the end of the stake, let’s say the stake is 10 days long for example, if on those 10 days $10,000 in ETH were to be collected an you are staking 300,000 LAYER tokens the breakdown is the following:
Fees collected: $ 10,000 in ETH
LAYER total balance in staking pool: 3,000,000
LAYER locked: 300,000 -> 0.1%
at the end of that stake you will receive: $1,000 in ETH
**Keep in mind that you can end your stake at any given time, but if you end your stake before the time agreed stake time elapses you will lose your rewards as a penalty.
In other words the more LAYER you stake the more rewards you collect.

On this update we’ve also released LAYERx, you can ONLY get LAYERx by staking your LAYER on the staking portal for now.

Inflation rate 10,000 year for a period of 4 year or 27.397~ LAYERx per day
